Actually after talking to her tonight she thought it would be pretty cool to put vinyl race decals, headers, mags and drag tires on it as it was back in '68 for one show just to be different. A couple of hours and it would be back to stock again.

I kinda go to the pics that Verne posted of York. All very cool, but a lot of them done in the nostalgia "back in the day" race car look. If this car had no race history, I'd say GG dog dishes, off the show room look. But this is the cars history/life. To put it back, would be somewhat like putting the Vitar copo, or Herbie's hugger, or the Ray Allen chevelle back to show room stock. A cars history, is like the story of your life. While a baby's born with a clean slate, he/ she are what they are in life by what they do. If he grows up to be a Hells Angel, you don't dress him up in a suit when he dies, and say "what a nice life he lived". In my old perverted logic, that's how I see these cars. If it were still day2 I'd leave it that way, but I'm inclined to go back original. The Grecian Green paint has already been mixed to match Annies Nova.
