I saw a buddy of mine this weekend that owns a Corvette Restoration shop that is in the same industrial complex that Cheetah Bob is in. I was not aware that Bob was there as I have not been to my buddies shop in years. He told me Bob was folding up the shop.

I was at Barrett Jackson three weeks ago, but due to bad weather never hooked up as I normally do. He had a display under the seating area near where the cars exited. He is working out of his home shop again. With the current economy and Bill Thomas's death last October, there was to much pressure to keep the shop open. Bob is a hell of fabricator, and I wish him luck this year. |
