Any good junk yards to go to within a few hours drive of Scottsdale? I think I can talk the wife into letting me go scrounge for a few hours one day too.

I'm from Ohio, nothing really good left around here.

I used to always make Wednesday Junk Yard day and would spend hours at Desert Valley Auto Parts. I think their website is www.dvap.com

When I was last there a few years ago, it was run by 2-3 young guys and a girl and they were pretty cool people. I would spend some time in the office shooting the bull, then spend literally hours looking at all the cool stuff and shooting pictures. Hundreds of cars, mostly 50's-70's and very well organized within 1/2 hour or so of the BJ site.

ALSO, don't miss The Pavilions for the absolute best "Cruise Night" you will ever see. (Just ask Bruce!)

My wife wants to go someplace sunny with the kids and actually asked me if I thought we should go to Arizona during Barrett. This is the first year in many she hasn't had a nat'l sales meeting for work the same weekend. I'm going to check airfare and flights, and see if there's a hotel room left in the state. We'll see....

If there's nothing cheap in Scottsdale...check the surrounding cities, like Peoria (Bell Rd. and the 101 or I-17 and the 101)are less than 20 minutes drive time!

Definitely worth a field trip, boys.

They don't cotton' to ferriners, make sure you go with a local if you're buyin'.
