Canada is a huge country,about 1000 miles wider than USA. Quebec is on the east coast and Rivere Du Loop is in the Eastern regions of the province. A lot of cars sold in those Eastern towns got shipped into Labrador where the high paid construction workers needed something to spend their money on. No guarantee that that was the history of your car. Many early owners may have been transient. I know of two other 72 w-30 hardtops in Flame Orange that were sold new in Canada other than the one I had.

That orange was popular, my parents' '72 Lemans GT was the same shade of orange.

Your "driver" restoration is very sanitary, the '68 H/O must have been stunning.

The 68 was a frame off "trailer queen" & I don't have a trailer.

I enjoy driving these cars too much & it was too nice to take the road wear.

I guess my use of the term "driver" may be a stretch. I have driven this W30 to a show or cruise almost every weekend this summer. My 68 was driven to three local shows in two seasons.

Love that green, bench seat car in the link. I am looking for a set of those steel wheels for mine, I really like that look!

Wow!!! What a good looking car!!!I have to agree with some of the others on your idea of driver. I'm almost finished my idea of a frame-off driver ('72 442) and about the only difference is my floors aren't as shiney and I added some aftermarket speed and handling stuff. Oh yea, one more thing, mine is a small block-4 speed. I'm a SBO guy so I can appreciate the W-31 cam---I have the stock stuff from my race car ('69 W-31 in avatar) on a stand and built another '69 engine to goof off with. The '72 has the original engine, but it is built, too. When I figure out this picture posting thing, I'll be glad to show you my cars. What '68 H/O was your's? I try to follow the Oldsmobiles pretty closely and am curious what car was your's and when and what it sold for. I am currently looking for a &quot;post, 4-speed&quot; Rallye 350 to do (remember I am a SBO guy) so if you or anyone here knows of one (that I haven't seen yet) please let me know.
