There were 2 ol' geezers at the Grove with their Anniversary Gold Impalas. We came back from the pits late and Ronnie Evans' '62 had a "Best of Show" plaque on the front seat. The car still has the plastic seat covers on it.

The track was slick, as the Grove usually is, but there were some good runs. There were a few front engine AA/FD there that put on quite a show. The HemiHunter was there and made one pass, but left some oil at the finish line. That was disappointing to see those good guys on a budget have bad luck. I'm recuperating after lifting a friggin M22 into place laying on my back ! It will be on the road pretty soon...probably just in time to put snow tires on it !!!!
