Re: 70 L78 Convertible
Trace Armstrong was into Hot Rods/Muscle cars as was Richard Dent (Customs). One of Trace's former Chevelles belongs to a club member here in Chicago (far West Suburbs) It is a Fathom Blue, White,White,White rag top.

Re: 70 L78 Convertible
The Fathom Blue, White, White ragtop appears with three other cars in the gallery pics on NICAB website. A'57 and a '55 he purchased there, and Traces '69 Chevelle race car, "The Other Woman". The '70 rag was built for Trace, and he assisted in the build.
In the 90's there were 5 known L78 ragtops- Chuck Hanson's Red, Mike Gabbard's Fathom Blue, the Silver, White, and Black, which were all at Nicab. The White belonged at one time to a member here. The current one would make 6. There was another possible Red one down south that made 7. He probably never heard details about the others. |
Re: 70 L78 Convertible
$250K with 5 + days to go. Has this car met reserve? "Reserve not Met" is no longer there, but "Reserve Met" is not there. Pretty stout number if its real. Fella with (0) bids is top bidder.
