Re: 1969 Hockey Stripe
Mike,
Can you get a close-up image of the front fender detail and post it here? I'm primarily interested in the detail from the engine displacement emblem down to the bottom. Steve |

Here is a pic of my original paint L-78 Camaro. Notice where the stripe starts and the break at the emblem.

Re: 1969 Hockey Stripe
The factory assembly manual shows the stripe extending down onto the fender extension. I lost my hobbystage site with all my pictures so I'll have to dig to show you the detail in that area.

Here is an ad from late 69 showing the stripe extending on to the fender extension.

Re: 1969 Hockey Stripe
The ad doesn't show any pinstriping. The black stripe on white would make the pinstripe stand out. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...s/confused.gif

Re: 1969 Hockey Stripe
That ad does show pinstriping.
It's just difficult to see on a computer. In that ad,they extend on to the lower fender,as well as the pinstripping closest to the bumper is unbroken and set back farther on the fender then previously posted pix. |
