Steve,

Is that your Hugger Orange Yenko? If so, what was the
approximate build date? I noticed that your car has the
rear panel blacked-out. Wasn't that an early Yenko
phenomenon?

BTW, I like the 24/24 scale too. Can you get one for the
price of a Danbury Mint die-cast? https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...s/rolleyes.gif

The first 50 cars were X66 cars and had the rear panel blackout just like the 396 SS cars. All were O1B cars...BKH

...unparalleled for detail & quality.

With a black grille? Seems to be the 'wrong' detail. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/blush.gif

That must be a picture of the prototype because I have 3 Creative Master '69 Z's (2 Hugger Orange & 1 LeMans Blue)and all three have silver grilles.

The detail on these is awesome, especially with the real metal emblems.

For all you 2nd. Gen fans,Franklin Mint is coming out with a '70 1/2 Z/28 in various colors ($69) and it is due to ship in December.I have pre-ordered mine in Hugger Orange of course from Supercar Collectables.

Once again I have miss-spoke and must correct myself:

I came home this evening and checked my CM '69 Z's and low and behold: They all have black grilles.

I originally posted from work based on what I thought must be correct-a silver grille on a '69 Z/28.

Now I apoligize for that mistake.... https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/worship.gif

Wow, they really nailed it, especially with those "Atlas" wheels and tall 70s. I'm putting one of these on my Christmas list.

The detail and proportions look really good. Makes Ertl's 69 Camaro look like it was whittled out of a bar of soap. Just one question...where are the Wide Tread GTs?

Not sure why no WTGT's. Perhaps a naming rights thing on Goodyears part. I just recieved a flyer for the new Yenko release. The flyer itself is a neat piece...BKH

I used to be in love with Lemans Blue Yenkos with rally rims...but these hugger orange cars, especially with the Atlas rims, are really starting to tickle my fancy!

I think Hugger Orange is perhaps the best color for a 1969 Camaro possible.LeMans Blue a close second in my book too...
