Yep, and my uncle's brother-in-laws third cousin's wife's aunt's ex-husbands father-in-laws daughter's third wife (they live in Canada!) still owns the Big Block DEUCE she bought with her earnings from the paper route she had in grade school. It's sitting in a barn with her 200 mile '69 427 Z-28 convertible and her 327 powered '57 Impala. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...iggthumpup.gif IF it can be bought........... BUY IT!!!!!! Worry about how to pay for it later, or call Marlin! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/worship.gif [/ QUOTE ] Well I have his phone number so its not really that far off of a relation. |

Re: Yenko Duece
The owner still has the car. To my knowledge it is not for sale at this time, but might be worth a call since I've not spoken to him in a year or so.
The car is a FG 4speed, p/s, and sport mirrors (however, only one appears to have been installed by Yenko), and was sold new from Robert Chev. in Hicksville, Long Island, NY. This car has extensive paperwork, and I believe the original drivetrain. In fact, this car has the original newspaper advertisement with it! Per the other paperwork with this car, it is possible that this deuce received a wheel swap before being sold - we are not exactly sure what type of wheels though. When the car was 'found' it had some very 'old-school Atlas' type wheels on it, food for thought! It is only coincidental that it is in NY, as it was owned by the guy in Idaho that is being discussed in another thread. It previously was in California. A picture of it from the CA days is in the vintage pic section. |
