Re: 1969 Cougar Eliminator SCJ 428
There were no Cyclone Eliminators. There were Cyclone Spoilers and Cougar Eliminators. About 2000 of each were made. How many SCJs were made? That's something you'd have to ask Marti Auto Works.

Re: 1969 Cougar Eliminator SCJ 428
Those are the '70 King Cobra and Spoiler II, both stillborn NASCAR streetcars. They are completely different than the '69s we've been talking about, however. I bet the engines in these cars are 429 CJ and Boss 429.

Re: 1969 Cougar Eliminator SCJ 428
I have a friend who had a XR7 428 cougar. Bought it from a retired military officer. Beautiful interior. He changed the cam, and put on the police interceptor intake, and that thing just flat flew.

Re: 1969 Cougar Eliminator SCJ 428
I would love to find a rust free 390 XR7 with a bad engine. I know where a 428 police interceptor engine is that would slide right in.

I beleive The yellow King Cobra was found at Holman and Moody's shop. That car is awesome and I believe they are the only two to exist .
