Didn't Legendary have an LS-6 Chevelle in this same color a while back? It seems like it took them a very long time to move that car. To me it looks better on the Camaro. I'd like to know if the Baby Blue used on the 70 Oldsmobiles is the same color. I've seen them with bright blue stripes. Very unusual!

Re: Interesting

Yes I used to own that LS6 Chevelle. It was a Cadillac color. Worldwide Musclecars also had a 69 Camaro SS car that color.

I believe that's GM Paint code #20 Light Blue.
Also known as code #80 when applied on some when built in Canada.Applications B-O-P-Cad.
When the car is done & detailed right..I LIKE IT! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/cool.gif

I really don't understand all the hangups on if a union worker at a gm plant bolted the intake on or the spoiler, or if a nonunion gm dealership worker out in the garage did it, gm or one of their many subcontractors made the parts and they got on the car period, that car is in a well known camaro book so its gonna go for big money and double that in 5-10yrs when its resold and so on..if your a tarheel fan I would buy the car now cuz all special short runs are only gonna push in the future the 68zconvert recent price that had a lot of the same questions as to its crossram, jl8, etc. being orig, or installed 2wks later, or freshened up..buy it drive it and sell it later for double https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/grin.gif https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif

Nicely put. It's OK to call out details that aren't correct, but there's no need to question the seller's ethics in absence of any proof to the contrary.

Re: Interesting

It does not appear to be the same one pictured in John R. Hoopers book "The 1969 Camaro Reference Book" However the one pictured in the book has a hand written note that reads, "continued on the following page" So maybe the one pictured in the auction is the second page?

Re: Interesting

Interesting car, but does the paperwork show the light blue to be the original color ordered? Also, is the chambered exhaust added, I couldn't see the NC8 on the option sheets? I don't want to beat up on the car, but if you want to get $150K you could at least have some pictures that are big enough to read the paperwork.
