Re: 427/425 Biscayne?
Rob,
My vote too. I love the LS-6 but inch for inch the 427 will probably remain the all time king. |
Re: 427/425 Biscayne?

Re: 427/425 Biscayne?
The 68's are the junk manifolds, not the vette style.

Re: 427/425 Biscayne?
Elvis was the "king" but the LS6 was the "Bully of the Boulevard".

Re: 427/425 Biscayne?
Here is a hot look'n 67 Biscayne. Not an L72, but still a nice car. I too have been looking for the allusive 67 L72 big car...but none to be found.
I think Casey would like this one. http://www.impalass427.com/72res/67BelAir.jpg |

Re: 427/425 Biscayne?
A collector in Austin by has a 66 L72 with transistor ignition and four speed. It looks like a Corvette motor got lost on the assembly line and ended up in this car.
It most certainly the original engine. |
Re: 427/425 Biscayne?

Re: 427/425 Biscayne?
Cool car Mickey! Is that what it looks like today with the lettering still on it or is that an old pic. It has the "COPO" look with 425hp and not even any SS emblems. I like them to.
