Re: Reggie's COPO on ebay

If this burnished brown Camaro on Ebay has a body number of #155017, it would be the one that Rick Dyer of Mt Clemens, MI assembled back around 1990. There is a full write up on this car in Muscle Cars of the '60s/'70s, Sept/Oct '91 issue.
At the time of the photo shoot of this car, Rick told me, that in the magazine article it was going to have my name saying I authenticated it. Needless to say, but my name never showed up as he knew what the ramifications would be. If I recall the car sold before the article came out, and Rick moved on to something else. Warren

Warren, I'm out of the parts biz - Dougie retired in '97, sold the '67 Z/28 and ZL1. Now I just hang out here :-)

Still have the NOS rosewood?

Re: Reggie's COPO on ebay

Charley, it depends on what your definition of a real car means. You know we have to be careful what we say!!
Read the magazines article and you will see it says Rick found the car in a junkyard in Wheeling, W VA. Now lets do the math, a car now is being advertised as matched numbers, and you can, well eat off the floorboards. What does this add up to?
I will give you a call.
