GM customer experience!!

The executive committee handling this case is slow walking . A week later still have not provided a 7 passenger equivalent loaner. They offer $44 reimbursement for rental vehicle. They only state this is the best they can do and refuse to provide contact information to escalate the case.

I'm in FL so they are using our cars in NY.

The dealer working on the car provided this to my daughter:

chevrolet traverse engine that is on backorder
Search instead for how long to receive a chevrolet traverse
engine that isnon backorder

Al Overview

A Chevrolet Traverse engine on backorder
could take several weeks to several
months to receive, depending on the
current supply chain situation, the specific
engine part needed, and the dealer's
inventory levels; with some reports
indicating waits of up to two months due to
potential shortages and high demand.

Demand a new vehicle.
They will have access to that.

I second that. Lemon Law, Goodwill Adjustment, or something. Be the squeaky wheel.
Last resort, arrange to meet a local TV news crew across the street, that should get their attention.

Cripes, it's only on it's second tank of gas.

I wouldn't want it back....

Is there a Lemon Law in your state? I believe in some states if you don't get your car back from the dealer within 30 days you can get all your money back.

I would get aggressive about this. You bought a vehicle to use. Not to have it sit in a shop. Drop the gloves and go after them.

700 miles, would think it's worth pursuing the Lemon Law.

Lemon covers repetitive problems. At this point (as irritating as it may be) is an issue that is covered under warranty. No different than the cars we love that have a CE or an SR block under warranty 50 plus years ago

This has nothing to do with the "lemon law".
This is a completely different deal.

You bought a new vehicle, and it was defective almost immediately.
They are telling you they cannot fix it.
Demand a refund or a new vehicle.
The above is sound advice.
Pretty easy to make them look really bad here.
I would scream bloody murder if they did this to Ann.

Tell them to replace it immediately or you’re sending a Tow Truck to take it to a Competitive Brand Dealership who very much wants to allow what you paid for it towards one of their obviously better built vehicles also provide a courtesy car until the day you take delivery.
Apparently, they also have big plans for the Traverse which they don’t plan to fix but put on tour also well publicize your whole story including how GM treats new customers.

Looks like Pete understands "drop the gloves and go after them" very well.
You have the high ground.
Take advantage of it.
They are not being nice to you!!!
