Is it a 4 speed ?

Was wondering if it had the original engine. Sad it's gone, but you should be able to find a running BB to drop in to make it a "yard driver" for now and keep watch for a '67 L36 engine.

No its a 400 auto he does have an IE code engine near it maybe hell let it go for this car. but i do have a 3904351 running engine i can put in it.

If that hood hasn't been opened in 40 years be VERY careful with it. The hood is the most valuable part of the car.
Wish I wasn't 2k miles away. I'd hook up my trailer and come help...:headbang:

The hood was off the car next to it as it sat in a junk yard in east Lancaster Ca. in the early 90s. motor was gone.

My Chevelle came out of Lancaster…one of the best climates for old cars. Zero rust…..

Say what ?? He offers you a car like that and you turn it down ? You may as well store it until you are ready, rather than have it continue to sit in the weather.

I can pass the handle along to a more deserving person... I'm sure there are others on here with more than me.
Yeah, I can feel the old body slowing down now too. I don't think I have anymore 36-48 hr runs left either. I did do 18 hrs twice in Feb on my to and back from FL.
