Great memories.

I know for a fact that my friends car was hit lightly in one of the quarters. I didn't see it after it was hit, as he had already sold it and the new owner crunched it. Can't remember which side got hit. He said it wasn't bad. That car also did not have the original motor when he sold it. Car was stolen. Engine was mia when it was recovered.

When I ran the VIN on the engine pad, it came back to Craig’s Chevrolet in Edmond , OK.

I do not know if my friend's car was bought new at Craig's Chevrolet. I do know he purchased it from there as a used car in 69 or 70.

Pretty sure Craig's became Craig Ayers Chevrolet. Craig had a son named Woodie, and it became Woody Ayers Chevrolet. I am sitting about 3 miles from the original location as I type this.

Joel's Z... February 1968. At ten months old the Z was well into Day 2 modifications. It and the black Chevelle were heavy hitters in area street racing.

This pic hangs in my shop and is special to me because of my relationship with the cars and their owners.

What a car, congrats!

It's just awesome that there are caretakers that through all those years took care and kept them so we can enjoy them today.

Tahoe turquoise is stunning!!!

Looks like the front of motion car building in 1968 with all the hot rods.

Were the rally wheels still on it at that point? The angle makes it hard to tell. Very cool photo.
