Cool car! I remember seeing a few back home in the 80s. I’m assuming that the window sticker is just a typo and that the VIN on the plate is the one on the ownership (title). 2 for Canadian built and all.

75 miles... I think I’ve pushed my car more than that in the last 30 years.

How does it drive Charley?

Charley Lillard 02-02-2020 02:12 PM

Dunno yet. Fixed the drivers door opening and now replacing the drivers door glass due to the poor design of the air operated doors.

I think Charlie is too scared to close the doors while inside.

Post a photo of you inside with the doors closed. I dare ya!

I double-dog-dare ya!

45 year old car with 75 miles, how cool is that!
Nice docs you have with the car Charlie!
Really not a car you want to drive around much be so original but a real GEM that's for sure!

My Uncle worked on the owners manual for those cars. Remember him bringing one over to the house. Thought it was super cool with those doors. Wonder if the AMC 360 or 351 ran harder. I'm guessing the 360.

i worked on more than a few of those when i was a kid, i worked at a dealership and we did a lot of door, window and body repairs to the doors and rook skin..the door actuators had so much pressure..it just killed the roof skins/structure....St Louis had a ton of them..they are prob all in Canada now..theres a guy up there that had the intent of buying everyone he could find..he may not be with us anymore...its been a long long time..he was running adds in Hemmings etc...he parted a ton of them out..bought a ware house of all the NOS stuff i think that was left..he was the go to guy for decades

Ive always like them..always...id street rod one if i could find a decent one...but i dont need another project...lol

looking back..it was the early to mid 80s...when i worked at that shop..time flies....

too bad the Bricklin movie roles were not as big as the DeLorean in "Back to the Future"
