A 1967 Corvette, 435 HP, Side Pipes, Roadster. Priceless. She’s beautiful. Congratulations Rob

Congratulations, Rob. Sunfire yellow is my favorite color. I put 30 miles on my Sunfire yellow '67 today, that color really attracts attention.

John... any history on the car? How about options. Looks nice! Tom

Thanks every one this is my first C2 so do not know much about them. Tom all I know is it is supposed to be a 3 owner car, the guy I bought it from owned it over 20 years. He was a collector of higher end cars like Ferraris and Porsches. I dealt with his son in Irvington NY. because his dad was selling off his collection and I think his dad was from conneticut.
The car has 80k miles everything is original with the nicest original interior right down to carpet except one repaint before he got the car. The car is pretty much a standard option car and it did come with a hardtop. The son is trying to see what other paper work his dad has.

Nice car John!! Like the color, can't wait to see it... I'm sure you will be driving it all next summer.

John,

Nice looking car. Let me know if you need any small parts, I have some left after the 400 and the 435. I don't have any 427 Corvettes currently and no plans to get any more, my interest is L-79's and L-76's now.

Don't worry about the pad, drive it hard like I drove the red 435.

Nick

Thanks Mark and Nick I will let you know if I need anything.
I just noticed on Ebay there is a 0525JE engine for sale the vin is about 400 before mine. The cast date of both blocks is C217 and the heads on the one on Ebay are D17 and mine one is D17 the other is D11 7.

TimG 12-08-2019 07:38 PM

That block and stamp are nice. The correct stamps in the 19000 VIN range all have unique characteristics.
