68 l89...
I don't understand the engine picture of what looks like a real L89 motor...how does that relate to this car?? It isn't mentioned in the description...??
If you were going to spend all the $$$ for a high horse custom engine and 5 spd, why not just put the correct style drive line back in the car..?? -wilma |
Relisted for $99,000 in the link below:

No wonder the price went up. He added those sweet Mastercraft tires.
|
The Mastercraft tires seem to find their way on cars right before they are sold....
This one has been relisted in the link below - same price. Link to 1968 Camaro L89 Convertible auction |
It's back in the link below, now sporting an interesting wheel choice of Centerlines up front, and rallys out back. Just a nice set of period TTs and Goodyear bias plies would do wonders for the visual appeal.

Says the only 68 L89 Convertible known to exist...
I am pretty sure there is a documented Cordovan Maroon with white interior 68 Camaro L89 with IIRC 2.73 gears which was purchased new in NC somewhere near Raleigh? |
|
Interesting car, no proof it's an L89 though?
|
Pretty sure it had a protectoplate with the correct L89 engine suffix code.
|
Oh badass. Guy says he's including an L89 engine, I'm surprised nobody has try to make a deal and shift this car back to being more original.
