Ball was tipped by Hester, was not the kickers fault. Football is a team game, if you think about it the D should not have given up the last TD and the O should have scored more than 15 points.

I personally enjoyed seeing these two battle in person. It was one of the most exciting games ever @ Soldier Field & you couldn't ask for a better playoff match up.
Bears were a 6.5 pt. favorite with a 42 over/under,the final score of 16-15 says it all.
We were all surprised how low scoring the game was.Everyone all day on both sides in the stands kept saying.."Oh This is going to be a close one".
If were pointing fingers, did some of you forget that Parkey made 9 of the Bears points?
Why didn't we get touchdowns on all those drives? Not to mention that the Eagles tipped the ball before it hit the uprights.

The game should've never been that close by Vegas odds or come down to a field goal to decide it.Both the Bears & Eagles are top notch teams, but had their brain fart moments, like clock management,(not to mention the refereeing),and had many chances to blow the other out @ certain times.
I loved how it kept going back & forth. Here's hoping the Eagles take down the Saints as 8 pt. underdogs.. :beers:

What I want to know is,where the hell were the Baltimore Ravens yesterday?

Bottom line is that Parkey was being paid to kick field goals and extra points and he can't most of the time. The Bears should have cut him loose after he missed 4 in one game, then maybe yesterdays game would have had a different outcome. I understand why they didn't boot him at that time, Bears were to heavily invested in him, but now they will can him anyway and eat the loss. The team can't cary a kicker they have no confidence in, that's why they went for 2 point conversions more often that not this year......I'd be real surprised if Parkey ever kicks another ball in the NFL but with 9 mil in the bank, he won't have to....bout time pro athletes contracts are structured so the player gets paid according to how he performs!

^ Again, the ball was tipped but I agree that Parkey has had major issues this year. I agree that he probably should have been cut earlier in the year but they had too much $$ invested. You could see that Nagy did not trust him as he took a shot on 3rd down with 15 seconds left. Can you imagine if Trubisky threw a pick or there was a penalty? Nagy would have been crucified! If there is someone to blame, I put it on the management. If you don't trust Parkey, cut him!

I still feel for the kicker. :-)

Yes that game was very exciting and had my chest pounding several times during the course of the game. Rick thanks for supporting the Eagles and it will be a huge challenge this coming weekend. We were underdogs all of last year playoff so hopefully that will continue. The Bears are an exciting young club that will go very far next year..... Sounds like you really enjoyed the game, and the atmosphere and energy must have been awesome!!!

...I dunno...but they weren't in Baltimore....

From my perspective, for the past two weeks, the Chargers went to work and devised a plan how to disassemble the Raven's running game....which left the Ravens' O with...well...nothing.

Six mega $$ QBs will be watching the rest of the playoffs from their living rooms ... so much for putting all your eggs in one basket ... TAZ
