MARK...
I considered the Carroll Street car as I like Hunter Green and Camel, I had a Z71 Tahoe in the color combo back in 95. However it appears to have been painted and is missing the T.I., although it has really nice original camel comfort weave seats and is fairly priced. It would be a bear off the line though with 3.55 - if it REALLY has a M21.

Nice thing about a 'Vette is you can swap the pig out in about an hour and be running a different set of gears. Drop the rear spring, half shafts and drive shaft and swap it out.

You should think about a strut rod spacer. Helps the tires during the "vette squat".

The roadster I looked at had strut rods with opposing threads and ends(not heim joints just threaded eyes with poly-bushings - I don't recall jambnuts but there had to be, right?), I figured something like this would probably be a good investment. (IT has brand new strut rods AND BUSHINGS)

Lawrence... Thank you for the help in evaluating the different cars, your corvette knowledge far exceeds my own!

Always happy to help out. Can't wait to see it! Let's meet somewhere on 85 halfway between Clt and Greenville.

It's going to be fun detailing it and preserving it.

I am looking for a pair of original seats,

The gentleman I purchased it from had about $1500 worth of Al Knoch covers foam and then had the seat frames cleaned and repaired, the tracks, degreased and then relubed -- all done at I think it was Eastern Corvettes.

The work order for the seats was ludicrous.

My only question was... DID you keep the original covers? NO...

I would gladly trade the seats for someone's good original seats.

Some thing closer to the pair in the lower photo... the comfort weave can be cleaned.

Congrats James. It looks like you opted to not drive it home. I like the look of the seats in it, looks like a nice job, not too bloated.
