If someone changed the ignition switch it may not have the bulb hole. There are replacements that don't have it. Maybe that's why it was wrapped around the harness. The assembly manual wiring diagram shows the ignition switch light. You should pick up an assembly manual. They are a great help for some things.

Yup, it's a replacement ignition switch.

I have an assembly manual, but that accessories installation manual is pretty cool!

Bought some male terminals, crimping tool, jumper harness, and a curved connector from a parts harness, I'm ready to modify the harness.

This is what I am starting with. No bumper harness, and the black horn wire had no connector.

After switching the six wires from the pyramid connector to the curved connector using the male terminals and adding the harness end of the black horn wire, I thought I could finish this tonight. However, I need a female terminal for the other end of the horn wire. Thought I already had some of those. Damn.

Once I buy a terminal, I'll connect these plugs and make sure everything works properly before adding the flasher kit.

Looks good Rick!

Thanks Mark.

I finished the install tonight. Haven't decided whether to hang the little tag or not. Leaning towards not, unless I'm at an appropriate car show.

Everything is working as intended. Glad I was able to get from there to here and make this kit work.
