Ryan </div></div> Thanks for all the positive comments and support from my good friends! I've got a long road ahead... I really gotta thank Brent for posting the car in this thread. Brent, you've posted a LOT of nice finds, and this one I couldn't pass up (or, nobody held me back). Thanks to James for being my man on-site, and to Dan for encouragement and support... and same goes to those that offered to help out. Yes, I plan to preserve as much of the original "patina" as possible. The car is definitely going to need repairs to the floors, and hopefully get by with just minor local repairs to the body. I'm on the lookout for an original driver-quality 1969 Chevelle black bench-seat interior including door panels, carpet, dash pad, steering wheel, etc. If anyone has these parts leftover from a restoration, I would gladly buy them for this car. I'm also on the hunt for a nice set of 15x8.5" wheels (with a 3.75" - 4.0" backspace)... maybe a vintage set of American Racing Torque Thrusts or Ansen Aluminum Slots? If you happen to be somewhere along the route from SC to Chicago to Calgary... so much the better! I'll keep you posted on my journey... |

Helmet.......they're 14's not 15's but look great on a '69. They are true Ansen Torque Thrust wheels. PM me if you're interested.
BTW.........congrats on the purchase!!! Kurt https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/pics...8-img_0572.jpg https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/pics...7-img_0477.jpg |
