Yup, a commercial towtruck cannot operate on the NJTurnpike or Garden State Parkway unless they are one of the contracted carriers.

You're lucky they didn't impound the truck and load on the spot and then force you to pay to have the entire rig towed away by a contracted tow truck. And then pay storage fees...

Well, instead of that, the trooper just unloaded his Navy-learned entire vocabulary on Joe!

Since it was privately owned, Joe had no business logo on the truck. HE gave him a rash of $hit about that too.
