Sorry it was a few years back on the 427 about the time I purchased the LS7's. They were before I had a cell phone with a camera. lol I do have a pic of where one of those wound up.

I know where Chevy found the extra 45 HP in these 307's An nice set of 186 heads. The engine casting dates are June and July of 1970.

The casting marks on the end did't look like 186 markers. I guess these are 1.94 valves too since a 2.02 needs a bigger bore. It is an interesting combination!

Those look like <span style="font-weight: bold">185</span> heads, which would be correct for a '69 200hp 307. 69cc chambers, 1.72/1.50 valves. Not a performance head. I'm guessing the extra hp was from the Q-jet and intake + *maybe* a cam??

Interesting that this motor is equipped with the blue paint push rods. That's some factory HP stuff right there.
