The broadcast sheet has 9737 and the special paint (discontinued color Fathom Blue) noted on it.

The Pontiac wheels were an easy choice for Don...Arnold Pontiac- GMC was less than a mile " up the road " in Houston. Both were family owned businesses and trading back and forth was common on things.

I thought I remembered you telling me that before. Thanks for jumping in Mark.

Interesting that the centers on the broadcast sheet are different from a Pontiac. Of course, he wouldn't want Pontiac emblems on the centers.
I'm still impressed that he was able to get them to make up a special 140 speedo. The wheels would have been easy compared to that, just order them into the plant.

Not to mention the front sway bar and that trim tag.

And the special stamp on the 396 engine is MV and also on the protecto-plate....so there was some thought into the need to track these special cars.

Kurt - what is the center cap code they used for the wheel?

Re: 68 Yenko Camaro wheels

Same as the originals on my 68 GTO. Large JC code wheels with the dates inside the rim not visible with the tire mounted.
My 68 GTO build sheet shows wheel disc 96 and color J. will post a pic of the sheet if it is at all helpful.

Does anyone know to go about finding the full part number which ends with the 80?

I'd like to see one.
