Good to know Steve and thanks. Really is smooth. Better than I thought it would be.

No more Speed Shops around where you have a choice and can just go buy this stuff anymore. I heard good things from some members here about LUK and also from Mike Cody who owns the trans repair shop. So far it seems real smooth with no chatter or vibrations. Pedal pressure is good too. Don't run slicks or do any real drag racing with it so it should be fine. </div></div>

What was &quot;bad&quot; about the Hays Street Clutch pressure plate? I have one and I've been chasing a vibration - that's why I'm asking.

It only allowed some of the fingers to be depressed. Could not disengage the clutch all the way. I had a vibration in the old set-up. The disc was going bad and finally wiped some of the material from the rivots.

In this case the clutch is much smoother than the operator

I bought this one to use when I install my 302 back in. Still need to get the flywheel resurfaced yet then I'll be ready. I had asked about the Brute Power on a few websites and never got a bad or not bad review. One thing though, the kit has the magnetized bushing and those aren't good to use. I need to get the good one but not sure who carries them.

BRUTE POWER / PERFECTION CLUTCH Part # 90104
Raised Diaphragm; 10.4x10Tx1 1/8; Raised Diaphragm Style Cover

all those clutches out there are pretty good it seems. Sometimes you get a bad one like in anything else. I took a Hays out that lasted me 12 years. I like easy pedals.

Autogear makes a nice pilot bushing that is &quot;the good one&quot;.

I knew a stripper named Easy Pedals. Had a cousin named Peach Brandy.

Back to clutches. Sachs are really good for daily drivers. Great quality control.
