Yep, a real RB 440....It was a blast, ultra cheap, and fun to beat the snot out of. This car had 13&quot; ET slicks, and a 2.73 Limited Slip rear...The 440 was a low HP out of a 70's Gran Fury...Loads of torque. The frame was tied, a cheap cage ..and by the grace of GOD passed tech at Norwalk and Dragway 42.....I eventually blew the trans and rear in one shot at NRP. Here's a couple of pics...Most of what I have left is on VHS....RIP

LOL, yeah, I'd guess. What did it run?

13.00's while sliding down the track. As soon as you left the pad, it began to lose traction. By about 660' it was all done. The 440 had a whopping 140 hp net, the car was light, very light. Everything was stripped ( remember Caddy Hack) big motor, no weight. We cut on that car till it would smoke the tires with the 4 banger. Remove, cut a lot more and add 440. I think in the end it had 300lbs of ballast back in the trunk. Cheap fun.

Do you have any details such as fender tag information?

Cool Mopars! </div></div>

4 speed. It was a true BS23R1B car. It is now in a private collection in Tennessee.

Was the Cuda an early enough car it could have had the 70 wing from the factory?
Very nice, FE5 black top. What other options? 4.10?

Re: some of my old Mopars

That wing was on the car when I bought it, but I don't think it was the original one. It was a super track pack car with a 4.10 dana. most of the options are visible: billboards, rallye wheels, painted bumpers and so on. What you can't see is the 4 speed, rallye gauges, am/fm, rear defroster, and headlight delay.

I thought I was the only crazy who stuffed a performance MOPAR drivetrain where it doesn't belong! Way to go with the Monza! Nice fleet of Mopars, too. BTW, the car I am referencing myself to was a 1959 Austin Healey 100/6. I stuffed a 340/833 into it. No tag, no title, no insurance, virtually no brakes. Wow factor was wonderful, however! This was back in the mid 80s...

Wish I remembered how to attach an image...maybe this will work.
