Re: 1968 Impala Custom coupe Survivor
I love N96 caps too and they're a nice touch to this already outstanding car.
Maybe Don will snap the mag caps on for a few shots w/ the redlines! ~ Pete |
Re: 1968 Impala Custom coupe Survivor
I cant the caps are 14 inch caps..I would have because i like the caps better too..Just figured more people would want it with the redlines.

Re: 1968 Impala Custom coupe Survivor
Great car Don, I would like to have a car like this instead of looking around for a newer used car with all that high tech crap!

Re: 1968 Impala Custom coupe Survivor
great looking car, will sure to make someone happy ... they are only original once ... I like the 14" too, seems to be split on that front
interesting that it has the anti torque recall straps on it too ... all the other ones I've seen are attached to the driver's side ... as the engine torques from driver's side to passenger side ... not sure how efficient the strap / kit would be on the pass side ... someone "learn" me about the location of this one ...? https://www.yenko.net/attachments/use..._sale_1144.jpg |
Re: 1968 Impala Custom coupe Survivor
My 68 had them on both sides, and they were well needed!

Re: 1968 Impala Custom coupe Survivor
MY 69 Impala survivors has them on both sides as well. You have to look close but the passenger one is there.

Re: 1968 Impala Custom coupe Survivor
that is very interesting......was there a recall memo that indicated that these go on both sides or was this factory installed this way?
