Hey, Juan!
My mind doesn't record the times because it's focused on other things. Not sure if the times will be posted somewhere else or if they're being tabled for print (Hemmings Muscle Machines was there), but I suspect individual times are being posted by certain racers. Visit moparts.com "general" section and the "Pure Stock" section of V8Buick.com to see if what you seek is there. |

Yes, Congrats to Dan and Bob for yet another outstanding event. I let my oldest son (22) drive my COPO for the week-end. Ran a best of 11.64 @ over 120 mph! He was pumped. Quite a bit different than running 13.5's with a Monte Carlo. Last three rounds, he stayed calm and cool and pulled off a .00 reaction time, a .04 and then a .02 reaction time. I'd say he was quite comfortable in the seat!
Owen ran the 1970 COPO LT-1 Nova and nailed a new best for the car with a 12.73 @ 109.89. The boy can shift!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Proud day for the old man! Peter |

Glad to see your 62 at Stanton. All I can say is that it looks like a real page out of history. Most would have converted it to dual fours. Quite refreshing to see your single carb version. When it was going through tech, it sure did draw a crowd. To all of us "oldies" that gathered around it, it looked like an example of what would happen if someone could transport a car forward in time from way back. http://www.greensmilies.com/smile/sm...ns_thumbs1.gif |
