Here are a couple of Chevelle pix with green interiors. Two are of the dark green interior code 782 from my 69 Malibu and the other two are of my 69 300 medium green 786 interior car. According to the parts book, the 69 Chevelle and Camaro take the same part number for the midnight green and dark green colored steering wheels. According to the PPG Ditzler paint chart, the 782 Chevelle trim (same as 723 and 725 Camaro) would have used a midnight green paint for the column and the 786 Chevelle (721 and 722 Camaro) interior car would have used the medium green poly paint.

My dark green interior has a much light steering wheel color, all factory. You wheel color might be right.

Woj, thanks for the pics, that is about how mine looks. I have the midnight green painted dash - and of course with that the steering wheel looks way off - however, it is just about like your wheel to column difference. Looks like i will close out this thread and keep the wheel color as it is. Great pics, thanks for taking the time to get those.

It always amazed me how far off the 69 wheels were to the column colors. I had the same experience with the 69 dark blue and light blue interiors.
