Re: 1969 l89 chevelle ebay
I've never seen a 300D, sedan or hardtop with buckets. There's no good pictures of the front seats.
Dan (or ayobody else) have you ever seen buckets done up with 300 deluxe material and striping? Barry |

Probably because the 300 Deluxe models were never available from the factory with bucket seats. |
Re: 1969 l89 chevelle ebay
That's what I thought too Bill. And it's probably true.
If you look at the Q and A on the e-bay add, somebody' asks about the seats, probably Dan! Anyway, the seller replies that the front and back seats match. I looked through all the photos on the ad and on the photobucket link, and you can see a corner of the driver's bucket in one photo. The material's all torn up, but it looks like the correct material for a 300D car.(????) Barry |
Re: 1969 l89 chevelle ebay
Very neat car. Looks all correct to me. Missing correct carb, correct air cleaner, jack, distributor and who knows about the alternator? It calls for a 63 amp alt, as did my Malibu, but I have yet to find one anywhere. 61 amps all day long, but what the heck, an 837 instead, not bad. Should be a relatively easy resto, I'm sure spectacular when done. One of one I'd guess.
Congrats. Phil W. |
Re: 1969 l89 chevelle ebay
Correction. I did forget a few things (wheels, smog, exhaust manifolds), but great car none the less!!! Phil Woj

Yeah I know, it's time to admit that I need glasses! |

(the lot was dirt back then) http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a26.../rusticpub.jpg I have always thought the 300 versions were cool |
