Ken Lucas did an amazing job with the special paint code (orange) 67Z - all his work is top notch. Here are a few pictures of the car (prior to completion) http://i317.photobucket.com/albums/m...6396/SP67Z.jpg http://i317.photobucket.com/albums/m.../67ZEngine.jpg |

They both had Maine personalized plates, one had what looked like a Baldwin repop sticker the other seemed to have a Camaro grill emblem on the trunk. http://i158.photobucket.com/albums/t...P1010032-1.jpg - http://i158.photobucket.com/albums/t...e/P1010041.jpg - |
Re: Carlisle All GM Nationals
Glenn, I missed you in the solid lifter showroom building. When were you there? I was there most of Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday with 2 LS6 cars. From the pics you uploaded it looks like late Sunday morning. Would have liked to have said hi.

The placement of the "SS" emblem is correct for 1969. Here's a pic of a 69 SS 427 that was just restored by a good friend of mine.... http://i97.photobucket.com/albums/l2...n_IMG_0255.jpg |
Re: Carlisle All GM Nationals
Here's another pic of another 69 SS 427 owned by the same friend....a hardtop this time showing the placement of the "SS" emblem.

Re: Carlisle All GM Nationals
Your SS is much closer to the trunk lock then the one at Carlise...It has more space? Which one is right?
