Yes....I was NOT trying to be rude in any way!! I was very thankful for the advise you have given my friend!! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif I'm a very laid back person and easy to get along with. I'm new here and do not want to get anyone mad at me!! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...iggthumpup.gif Dave 67 Nova Boy [/ QUOTE ] No problem. Just looking out for my fellow car guys (you're included). https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif BTW, as a machinist do you have access to a magnaflux machine? There is a non-destructive method to see the numbers with a magnafluxer. |

Re: 1970 Z28 VIN ON BLOCK
I think we do?? But there would be no way for me to bring it in to the plant. We have this "NO" government jobs allowed! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/dunno.gif The managers ruined that one for us. But will look into the acid method or the kits you have listed.
It would be great to see the numbers that have been gone for 35 years. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...s/headbang.gif Dave 67 Nova Boy |
