while we missed the MCACN 2009 seeking perfection, the GT will be completed by month end. shortly thereafter, i will happily post some pics. The car will also be at the MCACN 2010 (assuming Ashton saves us a spot). Adam

I live in Savannah, GA and I have never heard of this car when Dr. owned it. I will definitely ask some others older than me if they remember car and any stories.

As promised, I spoke with a friend who was very into the muscle car scene around the time the DR had the Corvette and he remembered the car. Story goes that the DR wrecked the Corvette raacing it Roebling Road Raceway in Savannah and tore up one whole side. My friend and another guy repaired the car for DR. and at that time he decided to change original Motion color of white and black stripes to hugger orange. According to friend he also installed the hono-drive on car to make more drivable with 4:88 rear gears. I have invited friend to comment on car. i believe the info you offer is incorrect. i would like the opportuntiy to speak with your friend if possible off line. prefer that to incorrect info being floated on car. for example, the hone was installed when new and is listed on the original 2 build sheets and invoice from baldwin motion. adam

Adam I am glad that you were able to make contact with Richard who had worked on car previously and knew the orginal owner very well. I will let you relay any info you receive from Richard rather than I.
