Re: 1969 Z/28 exhaust systems....Who's is the best
Gardner - just received two systems from them. They fit like gloves. Especially great for convertibles (clearing the stiffener plate).

Re: 1969 Z/28 exhaust systems....Who's is the best
Put a Gardner system on a 71 W30 last summer. the mufflers on a W30 are 17 inches long as opposed to 21 " on all other 442 applications. As i already had NOS mufflers I wanted to make sure I got the right length head pipes. When I called Eric he confirmed that their W30 mufflers were 17" just like the originals.
The system is an awsome fit. Go for the optional "show" package and get the Stainless brackets and hangers, you will be glad you did. Paul |
Re: 1969 Z/28 exhaust systems....Who's is the best?
As stated before & seconded!
I vote for the plated hangers & flame coated flanges! Makes for a VERY clean installation. Pay for quality I am happy with my-set up and WILL return for another Jim https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/worship.gif |

Garner is hands down the best but expect plenty of back pressure like the original system .If you want top performance you must go aftermarket .
