Re: 69Z Restoration
Finally took a few pics of progress over the last few months. Work and life sure has a way of getting in the way.
Had to reshoot all the hinges due to the hack job the previous owner did while hanging the doors: http://i463.photobucket.com/albums/q...8/IMG_1853.jpg Here's a shot with the front clip hung back on with Bill Prichert's help: http://i463.photobucket.com/albums/q...8/IMG_1912.jpg http://i463.photobucket.com/albums/q...8/IMG_1903.jpg Here are the Ralley's all lined up and ready to go with their new Goodyears I got thru Smallhurst: http://i463.photobucket.com/albums/q...8/IMG_1904.jpg And on the car, still waiting for the hood hinges and powerbooster to get back from Steve Griego: http://i463.photobucket.com/albums/q...8/IMG_1913.jpg Found a set of NOS 69 AZ plates for when I register it: http://i463.photobucket.com/albums/q...8/IMG_1917.jpg |

Re: 69Z Restoration
Here's an update on my Z28, couple things to sort out but it's pretty much done. Jetting is off on the carb, bogging when you get on it. Sorted out my electical issues finally, the problem was the turn signal fuse was blowing. Ended up being the console guage package was improperly grounded, wasted a lot of time figuring that one out. Basically went through the entire electical system a couple times. I also need to adjust the rear brakes but other than that the car is finished. Here are a couple driveway pics until I can find time for a proper photo shoot.

Nice job! I love that color combination.
Do much fossil hunting in those mountains in your backyard? That's a great location you got there. |
