I agree mostly whats been said here, the term survivor has been thrown around way too loosely the last 3-5 years..

I was just very limited on what I could I put in the subject line here, and figured that SOMEWHAT described this car, I put it in "quotes" as to not assume this is a true survivor my any means..

If I were a Bloomington Gold Judge, I would have a hard time giving a survivor award to a car that does not have original paint like this one, so hence I agree, this car really is only a "lite" survivior even if that...I will edit the subject line if I can..

Got to be a better word than "Survivor." To vague, a survivor is something that is still living or around, doesn't say anything about what shape its in or if its been restored. If we come up with better terms for these classes then it will be misrepresented less. This car is a classic example, it has survived but been fluffed way too much for some to be called a survivor.

Like Colins awesome BOSS for sale, small touch up paint area and rebuilt motor. To me its an awesome survivor with a little makeup/powdering done.

Yep, this car survived the crusher, but that is it. It is a very nice car, but the word survivor does not apply. It should be a "lower-mileage restored car" in the description. Sorry to offend the owner, but once you do this much work to a car, the survivor status no longer applies.

Ditto- but I think the word with restored is stretching it too. Nice driver- yes.

Its just like 70% of the shows we go to these days, I want to hand out the "Sanding Block Award" or better yet- "3M Best of Best Spit Shiners"

If one would list a car for 55k, wouldn't one think they would polish the swirls glare marks out of the side- or is that poor lighting and photo work?
