It doesn't have any stripes . . . it doesn't have any fancy chrome trim . . . or a cutsey sounding horn . . . or a name that is short for something . . . or fancy wheels and tires . . . and you could walk into ANY Chevrolet dealership and order it . . .
With a 4 speed and a Posi with 4.10 or 4.56 and it will blow the doors off 90% of all the Muscle Cars made.

The first woman to ever win an NHRA event was "Drag-on Lady" Shirley Shahan in 1965 (Winternationals -Super Stock/A) with her Hemi powered Belvedere. Chrysler gave it to her with an automatic. She asked why? They told her she couldn't handle the 4 speed . . . which was Shirley's first automatic. She had driven nothing but 4 speeds previously.

Simply put, this is one of the rarest and nicest Chevelles you will find. It is a genuine 1970 SS L78 car, of which only 2,144 were produced (by comparison there were almost 4,500 LS6 cars). Even more rare is its special order paint with stripe delete, backed up with documentation including two build sheets and a blank paint code on the cowl tag. It has many desirable options including cowl induction and a 4.10 Positraction rear end. It is the only one of its kind, and it is of exceptional quality throughout.
