https://image.ibb.co/gnara6/dyna_motion_07.jpg Same Camaro as above. I forget but it was either an COPO 427 or ZL-1 car. https://image.ibb.co/dk0M8R/dynamotion_03.jpg |

Pro Stock's best era as far as I'm concerned. If you were there you know what I'm talking about. These cars were so far ahead of their time
(with just about everything you see on today's race cars already having been invented just to give you younger guys an idea) that this car would not look out of place if you saw it in the staging lanes today. Update it with a modern hood scoop (yuk!), wheels and a few other items you'd hardly notice it from the other cars. That's a fact. Now imagine it's 1972 and you're a young teenager reading about these Pro Stock cars in Car Craft, Super Stock & Drag Illustrated, Drag Racing USA, etc. and first set eyes on these cars at your local track. Need I explain more? https://image.ibb.co/fyB2iR/carmen_rotonda_b.jpg |
Looks to me like this Camaro has a "Mod Top". I don't recall it being a factory option on Chevys. But then again, what does this Mopar guy know? :)

This car started life as a stolen SS396 and my Dad searched for months to come up with the right interior to make it a 300 Deluxe. Dad also did the stripes and lettering (gold leaf if I remember correctly). ThanX Brian |

'Tis no bracket car, kiddies, that's an A/Modified Production Camaro, basically an all-steel Pro Stocker (from that era).

Ex-Briggs Chevrolet LS-6 ragtop.
https://image.ibb.co/fatq2w/claude_urevig.jpg https://image.ibb.co/dHxuUb/dynamic_speed_center.jpg Wally's Super Stock/H Camaro was later transformed into a Pro Stock Camaro, then modified into a 1969 Camaro at the end of the 1970 season due to NHRA's 3-year rule in Pro Stock at that time. https://image.ibb.co/b2Gw9b/wally_booth_ss_h_camaro.jpg |
Guy Napolitano, great guy. His Camaro's paint scheme reminds one of Richie Zul's Pro Stock Camaro.

Bo Laws' D/Sports Production Corvette. It competed in Street Eliminator (later re-named Modified Eliminator). If I remember correctly, it was powered by a 390 hp, Tri Power 427 big-block engine.
