. EAGLE SUPERBOWL CHAMPIONS!!!! Probably the greatest most exciting superbowl game from the first snap until the last
|
Crash and Burn.... Yea Right! Not this team.....
Finally the Lombardi Trophy is coming to Philly. To all you haters.... Ah never mind..... Lets hope they don't burn down the city tonight. Mark . |

Not a big NFL fan anymore, however that was the best Super Bowl game EVER.
And it was especially fun for me to watch Bradey pick himself up more that a few times. Congrats Eagels fans. Mike |
YES! YES! YES!! I'm not a big sports fan (too busy sanding out runs and bugs in paint:thumbsdown:) But my Eagles took it!! And last year, the 'Stros took the World Series!! Then I also took Gold at MCACN! What could be a better year than that? :dunno: I think I'm done with fun since there is nowhere to go but down. Maybe I'll run for mayor? :smirk:
Cheers Dave |
To say this was a disappointment would be an understatement.
Eagles were determined, technical, creative, controlled and persevered. Aside from a few moments in the 4th quarter we never held a lead. Too many missed opportunities, mistakes, incompletes that were catchable, field goals not made, etc. The list is unfortunately long. For most of us in New England the win was a forgone conclusion only to be shattered by the reality of a better, more prepared, and hungry team on the field. Defeat is a feeling we know better than victory here, we don't learn by our wins but by our losses. Time to go back to practice - the new season starts today. |
I'm sitting there watching the game and the Eagles are driving toward the goal line on their first drive........and my Directv box goes out ...!!!!! Spent the next 10 minutes figuring out that it was in fact the box that went bad while trying to catch the game on the tiny kitchen TV. Stole another box from upstairs, then tried to calm down. What a game. Foles was flawless. Justin Timberlake at halftime put on one of the better halftime performances I have seen.

One of the most exciting Super Bowls I've ever see and I've seen just about all of them! 1152 yards of total offense generated by both teams, a Super Bowl record....a shame that either team had to lose... good job Philly, you earned it!
