Very nice Rick!! Coming along perfect. What quarters did you use on this car. Now how about this other ss post you have/going to get.

Yes, Eric does know his stuff, and with his connections we were able to get this spot welder.
We used panel bond between all areas that mate together.
The quarters are GM NOS from early stampings. Only thing is they were originally stamped with no side-marker light openings, so we will cut those in later.
We also decided to cut off the door jamb section for a couple reasons. 1) it allows us to form the door edge gap better, and 2) these quarters have the vent hole cut out in the jamb that we'd have to close off anyway.

No, this was the first 1969 Post Sedan, the Cortez Silver L35.... - the second is this Black L78, the third 1969 SS396 300 Deluxe Post Sedan is....well I will allow Rick to tell you - I do not wish to take away his fun [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/headbang.gif[/img]
