Maybe just the way the sun is shining on it? I remember the Dark green on 69-70 Chevelles. I think every second one built in Canada was that dark green...

These two photos caught my eye in the other thread. They bring up a piece of "Hemi-Lore." Only the Race Hemis (1965 & 1968) got chrome valve covers. The Street Hemis (1966 - 1971) got the black crinkle finished ones.
