Your rootin' paid off! :laugh: I have smoten the evil Steve and his Voodoo curse! I have trumpicated the slanderous "Good luck, Dave. I'm sure it'll go well" texts from the Wojinator! Yes, despite these uncoothy and unsupportive shenanigans, I'm happy to report......
SHE'S RUNNING PERFECTLY!!! :biggthumpup: And tomorrow will be a video of the first time she's moved under her own power since 1978. I'd do it today but after checking things over, forget that I didn't have transmission crossmember bolts and there's just two loosely installed and not bolted down, so based on my experience with this car, I'll wait until I get those bolts installed! :scholar:
So what did it? I decided on trying one last thing and that was to install a Pertronix II, matching coil, and new plugs. Fired right up, running smoothly, and most importantly, its fired up about 10 times today after heating up and cooling down. I think it's fixed!
More to come tomorrow and although I joke, I appreciate everyone's input. Thank you all!! There were several issues here and I'll recap tomorrow since several of you helped on this. But for now, it's time for a Killian's Irish Red, or twelve, to celebrate!
