Thanks again, not many people would drive 2 hours both ways to help out a car guy!!!

Make sure to plan a W-31 day at your place..... maybe a wing removal day :-)

More Chop Cut Rebuild :-)

The local shop doing this part of my chassis restoration is really doing a great job!! They are working toward making the repairs look OEM, they even used the same spacing for spot welds from the original trunk support.

There is 0.00% chance I was going to be able to complete this part of the work myself, I am very happy I move to having this work “subbed” out.

Friday Progress Report.

My correct starter is all rebuilt and restored.

The Starter shop owners wife has an upholstery shop, she is going to repair my drivers side interior door panel and maybe my SMS headliner.

Correct starter, brace, and hardware installed. (I am really proud of how it turns out :-)

Installed my pilot bushing but it is too loose, plan to get a oversized one made. I am sure I could use a stock bearing but a trusted friend used bushings instead of bearings.

Started looking at next steps, Clutch, pressure pate, etc
