A couple cool also important facts about Mosquito's;
When built, they were one of the fastest operational aircrafts in the world.
The main frames also wings were constructed mostly of wood!

The mosquito with the crew belongs to the military aviation museum. The hellcat and zero are Caf aircraft.

The mosquito with rockets was Rod Lewis’. Gone to a guy in California after his divorce. Damn.

Only 3 mosquitoes flying. The fourth either just flew or is just weeks away from doing so.

----You can see the Penske car and the corner of Scotts red car. Those are the only two of the 4 that were there in 2016 at Bloomington Gold at the Indy track. The 3rd car has yet to be fully vetted and the 4th is, so far, missing! That is my understanding. The silver car and the black car are both stock 66's with as many competition options as were available on a regular order form. My 66 (Jan's car) is at the other end of the room full of notable 66's.....Bill S
