Ryan, I wish I had seen your backing plates a few weeks ago. I just threw away a pair of front 9 inch drum backing plates with zero rust pits. I believe they would have been a direct fit for your car. Got tired of looking at them on the work bench and ASSUMED no one could use them, as most guys change to disc brakes.

From now on, I will post parts for free on here before pitching them.

Car is looking great. Hoping to get to see it at MCACN this year or next. Have fun.

I media blasted the small brake parts I need to reuse. (Some parts are the same in the kit)

I started figuring out my from drums, I replaced one hub and drum and the seal is slightly different from side to side..... hard to explain and hard to post pictures.... I think I have a solution, other than the kid at NAPA staring blankly at me:-(

Ryan, based on the pictures of the 2 seals you posted on facebook I believe you do have different size's , If you can find a part number on the seal with a Flange I can verify it for you but I really think it is an SKF/C/R # 17815 it is flanged and a smaller 2.332"od (for 2.328" bore ) Let me know If I can help any further

Aaron: Everything you and Tweed sent me was exactly correct.

The one hub and drum I bought was a 1968 or early 1969 so I have the seal area turned the same as the 1969 hub so the same seal fits both sides.

I can sleep tonight:-) I was worried my car would drive in circles :-)
