It's great to see they got her back in flying condition. I read the book when it first came out. What a great story and effort by the guys who rescued her. Too bad they didn't have funds or time to rescue the other planes.

Was this just north of the MATC Campus, or north of the airport?

My bad. It was in Endeavor, so probably on Hwy 39.

You can chase it but I'll bet Bob Trez has been sending him birthday cards for 30 years.
