That may be so, though beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. It will save the disposal of 200 million tires a year. No more spare tire or jack required. You will get the maximum miles per gallon from your car as you only get that when the tires ar properly inflated which Joe Public rarely if ever takes care of. Lighter front and rear suspension as lighter unsprung weight - better handling. They will last about 2X longer than a regular set of tires.

For decades, people have bought ugly cars. Soon they can begin to buy ugly tire/wheels too.

:haha:

Agree with Lee. I posted a pic of the Michelin prototype when that design was in its infancy about 10 to 12 years ago.

The design offers virtually the same cushion as a properly inflated conventional tire, with the benefits Lee outlined.

Wow, this one is so cool, but just the cost to get to the Maldives would break the budget, let alone the Forty Six THOUSAND DOLLARS FOR 2 NIGHTS STAY !!!!! 19k per night, plus taxes and fees... But, hey, our anniversary date is available...

For 19k a night, I think I will just get Sherri liquored up a bit, put some Virtual Reality goggles on her and tell her we had a great time the next day.
