Crash was simply trying to help your car go faster :)
Good plan of attack....your plan maybe enhanced based on my day on Wednesday. Stay tuned :) Dan |
Funny, I have seen a steel bushing that lets BOP 4 speed guys use Chevy pilot bushings, but I am trying to get the best bushing available.
Dan, you always have the next big thing teed up:-) Tease!! Ryan |
Isn't there a difference between auto and standard trans crankshafts? I seem to remember the rear of the crankshafts are different on the 400 engines. TAZ

I spent some time making room in the shed for items I have purchased that have overtaken the garage.
Space is at a premium around here. Pumped to get at the body again Wednesday. Ryan |
I Had the welder fitter over tonight and we mapped out a plan for each rusty spot.
I have to get serious and replace some sheet metal, both trunk drops, one trunk support, and some of the drivers side trunk pan. This way the car will be solid as a rock. This will put the car in a state that someday I could have a paint job done without reversing any work I am doing this time. I had been grinding millimeter by millimeter to get to the edge of a rust spot but that is not going to get it done. I feel good, I am back on track!! Tomorrow I spend more money:-) Ryan |

Two steps forward....
Tonight was ok... the trunk pan promised did not arrive:-( We moved on to different work, but got stopped by a fitting not matching between the welder and shielding gas:-( I did try out my spot weld cutter, it works like magic. Ryan I figured a way to post pictures from my phone without an app, or BS photo web site. I email them to myself and it asked small medium or large resolution so I picked Small and those pictures can be posted. |
